The Premier League has extended its broadcast rights agreement with Saran Media across 11 eastern European and central Asian countries until 2028.

The renewal with the Istanbul-based pay-TV provider takes effect from the 2025/26 season, and covers Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

Saran first acquired rights to the Premier League in 2021, in a four-year deal worth $21m (£16.4m) over its duration, according to GlobalData Sport.

Meanwhile, the broadcaster has also secured rights to the FA Cup across 13 territories, from the start of the upcoming 2024/25 campaign.

These include the aforementioned countries, with the exception of Belarus, and the addition of Ukraine, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The renewal comes ahead of the extra-preliminary round of the English domestic knockout cup competition, which commences on 2nd August.

The next Premier League season begins later this month, kicking off on 16th August.
