FIFA has agreed a partnership with ExpressVPN ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026™.

The agreement marks the largest sports partnership in the brand’s history. Under the terms of the deal, ExpressVPN has secured designation as official tournament supporter in the US, Canada, and Europe.

The brand has also announced plans to run LED pitch-side branding during matches, alongside a ticket sweepstakes for fans to win tickets to the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final. Additionally, the company has scheduled a digital advertising takeover in Times Square during the week of the final.

The partnership aims to address cybersecurity risks at major sporting events, where travelling fans are often targeted by cybercriminals when using public Wi-Fi networks in stadiums and hotels.

Charles Butler, Chief Executive Officer of ExpressVPN, said, “The FIFA World Cup 2026™ is the greatest show on Earth, and our goal is for fans to experience every moment of it securely, without their data being stolen in the process. By bringing this vision to the global stage and onto the world’s largest screens, we are fulfilling our mission. We are thrilled to give back to fans by offering them the chance to win match tickets to the tournament’s biggest games.”
