SailGP has partnered with Corona Cero as an exclusive supplier for its UK and European events during the 2026 season.

The agreement with AB InBev includes activation at two events: the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix in Portsmouth on 25 to 26 July and the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix in Geneva on 19 to 20 September. Corona Cero will operate branded pop-up bars at both venues, providing products across fan areas.

The Portsmouth event represents the UK leg of the SailGP calendar and forms the eighth stop of the 2026 season. Thirteen national teams will compete using identical F50 catamarans, including the Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team led by Dylan Fletcher and Hannah Mills.

At the Portsmouth event, Corona Cero will be available across general admission and hospitality areas, including the Waterfront Grandstand, Premium Waterfront Grandstand and the VELA Beach Club. The hospitality concept, introduced during the 2026 season, provides viewing areas alongside food, beverage and entertainment offerings.

The partnership is timed ahead of SailGP’s return to Portsmouth following its debut in 2025, where attendance exceeded 20,000 spectators across the event. The 2026 edition will again combine close to shore racing with music and fan engagement activity.

Live entertainment is scheduled across the Portsmouth weekend, with performances taking place after racing sessions. The event format reflects an ongoing approach in UK sport to integrate live entertainment and hospitality with competition formats to increase attendance and fan engagement.

The collaboration also aligns with Corona Cero’s wider involvement in sport, including existing partnerships linked to major international events.

Charlie Dewhurst, Chief Commercial Officer at SailGP, said, “We’re really pleased to welcome Corona Cero to SailGP, a key partner as we start our European race season.

“We’ve seen what Corona Cero can do in other sports and entertainment partnerships, and we’re excited to bring this to life at SailGP. As a brand, they align closely with us in terms of sustainability, storytelling and entertainment, so we know this will be a great fit.”

Jessica McGeorge-Stevens, Premium Global Brands Marketing Director, Europe, AB InBev, said, “Corona Cero has a longstanding purpose of inspiring people to reconnect with nature, and partnering alongside SailGP offers a new and exciting way to reinforce this message.  Through Corona Cero’s brand experiences and activations across the race weekends, we’re inviting people to disconnect from the everyday and celebrate SailGP’s Golden Moments with a Corona Cero in hand.”
