LIVE·TEAM completes acquisition of Sport Signage

Branding and live event group LIVE·TEAM has acquired motorsport branding and signage business Sport Signage.


The acquisition, which was announced by Alastair Bewick, Group Managing Director of LIVE·TEAM, will see the German-headquartered business continue to operate under its own brand and be led by Chief Executive Officer Bernd Wagner. Sport Signage has been active in motorsport, particularly Formula 1, for over three decades, providing trackside branding as well as static and digital event signage at every F1 race since 2014.

The agreement will allow both organisations to access local production facilities globally, helping to reduce freight costs and transport miles. Sport Signage will maintain its offices in Germany, the UK, Bahrain, Singapore, and Mexico, whilst gaining direct access to LIVE·TEAM’s facilities in the US, Australia, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai.

This transaction represents further expansion for LIVE·TEAM, which recently purchased Phoenix-based branding business bluemedia. Additionally, European football agencies People in Sport and GG11 have been acquired by parent company THE·TEAM.
