Wrexham AFC has entered into a three-year strategic partnership with global memorabilia platform MatchWornShirt (MWS).
Under this agreement, MWS will serve as the primary destination for match-worn and signed memorabilia for both the men’s and women’s teams. This collaboration adds Wrexham to MWS’s portfolio, which includes over 350 global sports partners across football, basketball, cycling, and cricket.
To mark the launch of the partnership, Wrexham players will wear shirts featuring the embroidered signatures of selected club legends during their Championship match against Blackburn Rovers on 29th November.
These items will be worn once before being made available for auction. Additionally, MWS is running a competition giving fans the chance to win a squad-signed third kit from the fixture against Middlesbrough, which took place on 25th October.
Rob Faulkner, Chief Business and Communications Officer at Wrexham AFC, commented on the deal: “Wrexham AFC are on an incredible growth curve following a record-breaking three consecutive promotions, as is the Wrexham brand thanks to the exposure and success of the Welcome to Wrexham documentary series.
“I am pleased that thanks to this new partnership with MatchWornShirt we can offer our global fanbase the opportunity to access and own their very own unique piece of Club memorabilia.”
