In loving memory of Matt Cutler
Sport Industry Group is deeply saddened to report the tragic passing of Matt Cutler, a respected sports industry journalist, communications professional, and podcaster.
A passionate supporter of Aston Villa, Matt was a widely known and warmly regarded figure across the sports business landscape. His distinguished career included serving as editor of Sport Business and later as Head of Communications at Two Circles, roles through which he connected with every corner of the global sports industry.
After leaving Two Circles, Matt created and produced the acclaimed podcast documentary series The Pirates vs The Premier League. He also went on to found Lock It In Studio, where he hosted the company’s flagship show Guestimators alongside Absolute Radio presenter Andy Bush.
More recently, he created and hosted Expected Goals, produced by Unofficial Partner, which explored the business and growth of women’s football.
